Kevin Westenberg's works explore the layered tension between presence and projection.
These portraits reveal both the iconic and the intimate, without compromising either. The works create space for charisma and vulnerability to coexist - not as opposites, but as facets of the same human presence.
There is a quiet clarity in how the images allow identity to unfold, not by explaining or exposing, but simply by remaining. Each photograph becomes its own emotional landscape - self-contained, atmospheric, and deeply considerate of the dignity of being seen.

Copenhagen has had a profound impact on Westenberg's career.
Forty-two years ago, he stayed with the family of Stig Pedersen, who at the time played in the punk band ADS before going on to form D-A-D. That year changed the course of the young Westenberg's life - from wanting to become an architect to picking up a camera, ultimately leading him to capture some of the most iconic photographs of his generation.
